Family Day Poster

AI is changing our everyday life's. But do you know what AI is, how it works, and where it is used or will be used in future? Join us at the AI Week's Family Day to interactive sessions, experiments, demos and much more. This event is dedicated to raising awareness and understanding of AI among the public.
The family day is for anyone interested with or without prior knowledge of AI, from all backgrounds and ages, from complete beginners to experts. Different research groups/institutes from RWTH, as well as partnering organizations and institutions, will present their work in Oecherlab and Fireplace, where anyone interested, whether children, pupils, students, adults or even seniors can learn and experience AI. Public lectures on AI will help people with and without any technical knowledge to understand how AI is influencing our life, where it is already used and how we can benefit from it. After the lectures, a debate on the benefits and consequences of chatGPT will be held in Fireplace. Some of the laboratories of the RWTH will open their doors to general public. This unique opportunity will give insight into the cutting-edge research on AI conducted at the RWTH University.
